Nadia Dardano (she/her) discovered her love for performing at the tender age of two, igniting a passion that has fueled her journey ever since. Originally from a small hometown who now resides in Toronto, Nadia learned early on that hard work and dedication are the cornerstones of success. Now, as a bilingual artist, she stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and determination. Currently pursuing her studies at Toronto Metropolitan University to attain a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree, Nadia delves deep into the world of performance dance. Her curriculum spans an array of styles, including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, partner work, floorwork, Street-styles, and West African styles.
Beyond dance, she immerses herself in acting, singing, and directing, understanding that versatility is key to embodying the multifaceted roles of a performer. Under the guidance of esteemed choreographers like Alysa Pires, Vicki St-Denys, Esie Mensah, and Fran Chudnoff, Nadia has graced the stage in numerous productions, showcasing her talent and versatility. She has also furthered her dance education through intensive programs such as ProArteDanza Summer Intensive Program and the Winter Intensive with RockBottom Dance Company, delving into theater work and expanding her artistic horizons. Nadia’s performance credits extend to prestigious events like the Canadian Walk of Fame 2023, performing in the opening act in tribute to Kardinal Offishall choreographed by Clarence Ford.
Additionally, she works as an emcee for Canadian dance competitions, seamlessly blending her linguistic fluency in English and French with her vibrant stage presence. With over a decade of experience in teaching and choreography, Nadia is not only a performer but also a mentor and creator. Her dedication to her craft and unwavering commitment to the performing arts make her a dynamic force in the industry. As she continues to push boundaries and explore new artistic avenues, Nadia Dardano stands as a shining example of young passion, drive, and artistic excellence.
