Patricia Gordon

Patricia Gordon (she/her) also know as “Ponytail Patricia” was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. After showing early signs for the love of performing, she started dancing at the age of 3. For 15 years she trained extensively in multiple styles at Happiness is Dancing, competing across North America winning special awards and overall high scores.

After graduating high school, Patricia moved to New York City to train at Broadway Dance Center in the International Student Visa Program. She trained in many styles and was able to learn and work for choreographers such as Salim Gauwloos, Shirlene Quigley and Yanis Marshall. While living in New York, Patricia found her love for the street style of voguing and was privileged to train and work with mentors Javier Madrid and Jason Rodriguez. Patricia continued exploring the world of theatre working for choreographers Josh Assor, Stephanie Klemons and Andy Blankenbuehler.

Patricia has attended other dance programs including; The Rockettes Summer Intensive, Dana Foglia 6- Week Intensive, Jessica Castro’s Lipstick Diaries & League of Her Own and Step It Up LA Summer Intensive.

Patricia moved to Toronto at the end of 2018 and has been working since. Here credits include; BMO, Smirnoff, CBC’s Canada’s A Drag, Snapchat’s Hold That Pose For Me, Pride Toronto, Nuit Blanche, Toronto Dance Theatre – DISKO PIKNIK, Priyanka’s Taste Test Tour Canada & UK just to name a few. While in Toronto she has worked with many choreographers including Caroline Torti, Hollywood Jade, Tamina Paris, Lisa Stevens, Amy Wright and many more.

Patricia has also found success in the fashion industry. She has worked for brands such as Refinery29, Michi Activewear, Tanya Taylor, Her Mannerisms Cosmetics and has walked/performed in New York Fashion Week, Rochester Fashion Week, Fashion Art Toronto and International Fashion Encounter.

Patricia is currently performing in the Empire Strips Back: A Burlesque Parady at the Royal Theatre.
She continues training and growing in theatre and commercial dance and expanding her knowledge of singing, acting and stunt work. Being on stage in front of an audience is where she finds the most joy, but would also like to further her experience in film and television. She looks forward to longevity in her career as an artist!
