Taran Bamrah

Taran Bamrah is an accomplished actor, writer, and educator, passionate about storytelling. Graduating from the Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies program at the University of Toronto, she brings a wealth of talent and experience to her craft. Taran’s notable credits include her roles as Delilah in Danny & Delilah, which premiered at the Foster Festival, Perdita in Winter’s Tale directed by Graham Abbey and Dylan Trowbridge, Norma Jeane in Norma Jeane Baker of Troy, and Greyson in the revival of Boy Who Cried at the 2022 Toronto Fringe Festival. Her artistic abilities extend to filmmaking, having completed the short film Undertow with the AMY Project, which premiered at the 2020 Summerworks Festival.

Additionally, Taran has showcased her writing skills in AMY Project’s The Breath Between and served as an assistant director for Tales of a City by the Sea at Theatre Passe Muraille. Currently, she works at the Drama School at Young People’s Theatre, where she is excited to bring her mentorship skills to empower and nurture young talent.
