Antony Cheng
ACTRA
Antony Cheng is an international figure skating choreographer and coach whose expertise is built upon an extensive career in figure skating and dance, both competitively and professionally. He has been invited as a guest coach and choreographer in numerous countries, including the United States, Mexico, Australia, France, the Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Canada, and the Czech Republic. He offers private lessons, leads seminars and camps, and choreographs for competitions and ice show productions.
Beyond the skating world, Antony has expanded his creative work into film and television, including choreography for the series “Mistletoe Murders”, produced by Lionsgate Canada and Headspinner Productions for Hallmark+. He has also appears in film, television, and commercials as a figure skater.
As a competitive athlete, he was a three-time Canadian National medalist and a former member of the Canadian Junior National Team, having represented Canada on the international stage.
His professional figure skating career has taken him around the world, performing with renowned companies including Royal Caribbean and Holiday On Ice, as well as in other Canadian and international productions such as ice shows presented by Storm Productions and the Philippine Skating Union.
In addition to figure skating, Antony is a professional dancer with experience in live entertainment, music videos, and commercials. Career highlights include performing with the Sauga City Dancers for Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, as well as appearing in the music video “Ultraviolet” by Spiritbox.
Antony is a graduate of Centennial College’s Dance Performance program in Toronto, Canada, and has trained with companies including The Vibe Exclusive and MVP Advanced Company, building an extensive background in commercial dance, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, and ballet.
