Milton Torres Lara

Milton Rene Torres Lara Jr. (he/him) is a first-generation Latino-Canadian actor from Ottawa, Ontario.

The Toronto based artist discovered dramatic arts at his local secondary school, graduating with an Award of Distinction in Dramatic Arts and a Fine Arts Certificate, and continued his post-secondary education in musical theatre disciplines at Randolph College for the Performing Arts. He has also formally trained at The Screen Academy in Ottawa alongside Mike Migilara, as well as LB Acting Studio with Caleigh Le Grande and Lewis Baumander in Toronto, and is now currently studying at House of Actors in Montreal. 

This September, catch Milton’s supporting role in the upcoming Netflix limited-series titled “Wayward” created by Canadian artist Mae Martin. Milton can also be seen performing various other principal roles in television series such as Reddit’s Horror Anthology: “Tales from the Void”, and Zoe Lister-Jones’ Comedy: “Slip”.

Milton has progressed beyond his initial Power Rangers inspiration at the age of four, becoming an adept performer striving for versatility, and continues to learn more about the art of performance.
