Will Widner

Will Widner is a professional dancer currently based in Toronto. Originally from Niagara Falls, Will started his dance training at the age of 12 being well-versed in a selection of styles such as hip hop, contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, and lyrical across various studios spanning from Niagara Falls to the GTA. In 2020, pursuing his passion for dance, Will had decided to continue his professional training at Intrepid Dance Company led by Mitchell Jackson and Derek Piquette. Training under big industry names such as Alisha Lucchese, Linda Garneau, Derick Robinson, Derek Piquette, Mitchell Jackson, and more.

Since then Will has been performing across North America dancing for the upcoming artist Rêve as one of her dancers. Recently, Will had the opportunity to dance alongside Rêve at the 2023 Juno Awards, as well as danced with the host Simu Liu. Will’s love of performing has also brought him to dance in Niagara Ballet’s rendition of The Nutcracker for multiple years spanning from 2017 to 2021. While Will loves performing in front of a live audience, he is also quite comfortable with being in front of a camera. Will has worked with various artist for music videos, Acrobatic Arts ‘Cardio Time with Briar Nolet’, concept videos with choreographers such as Caitlyn Paige, Derek Piquette, etc., and Canada’s Got Talent Season 2 alongside Intrepid Dance Company.

In addition to his training in dance, Will is pursuing professional training in acting with LB Acting Studios. Will is also refining his singing abilities under Louisa Burgess-Corbett Studios where he has been training since 2020. Will’s passion for his art is constantly motivating him to work effectively and efficiently.
