Emilie Naimark is a talented young performer with experience in acting, singing, and dance. At 17 years old, she has already built a notable resume, primarily through her work with Act One Production’s, where she has taken on lead roles in various plays. Her stage credits include playing Mimi Marquez in RENT, Peter Pan in Peter Pan, Sandy in Grease, Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka, Rafiki in The Lion King, The Cowardly Lion in Wizard of Oz, and a Narrator/Dock Master in Frozen. She also showcased her vocal talents as a lead vocalist in John Fisher PS’s Spirit of a Nation.
Beyond her theatrical performances, Emilie has ventured into music production, having produced two original songs with producer Mark Bright. She has also performed a one-hour solo singing performance for a UJA fundraiser. She maintains a presence on YouTube under the handle “@emiliemarks,” where she shares song covers, such as “Easy On Me” by Adele and “Beauty and the Beast.”
Emilie’s training background is extensive, encompassing acting studies at Armstrong Acting Studios and the Toronto Academy of Acting in Film and TV. She has received private acting coaching from Sarah Gnocato and vocal training from Alex Moses. Additionally, she is a musician, proficient in playing both the piano and guitar, with training from Kat Lucas. She has honed her dance skills at Turning Pointe Academy of Dance, where she was involved in competitive hip hop and has studied ballet, tap, and jazz since the age of seven. Emilie has also spent two summers at Stage Door Manor in New York, where she held a lead role in Matilda and participated in various classes, including acting, music, ballroom dancing, and improv. Fluent in French, Emilie continues to develop her diverse artistic abilities.
