Jayly was born and raised in Markham, Ontario. She is a Chinese Canadian who can understand Cantonese but prefers English. Jayly Yau is an energetic and charismatic 10 years old individual who loves to dance and perform. She has been dancing with The Dance Institute (TDI) for the past 5 years starting with Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Acro and has enjoyed every moment of it. Recently, she started to add Contemporary and Hip Hop to her training and has won many awards in the 2023 Dance Competitions.
In her spare time besides school and dance, she has basic learning of mandarin and attends some swimming lessons. She enjoys watching her Netflix shows and chatting with friends.
