Olivia Sauvé

Olivia Sauvé is a 15-year-old singer, actor and songwriter whose love for music began at age 3 when she would belt out “Tomorrow (Annie)” to anyone who would listen. By age 6 she was bitten by the acting bug and promptly joined Marquee Theatrical Productions, a very successful community theatre group and performing arts school in Aurora, ON.

Currently attending grade 9 in high school, Olivia is enrolled in the Arts program. Her love of theatre has sparked a life-long appreciation of the Arts.

Her perseverance and dedication to hard work has paid off and earned her numerous roles including the orphan, July, in Lower Ossington Theatre’s production of Annie; Belle, the lead in Beauty and the Beast; and Jovie, the lead in Elf.

One of the highlights of her career was being chosen to perform as an opening act during the Rock Your Hair Tour in Toronto alongside headlining performers Hayden Summerall and Jonny Orlando. She also performed at Youth Day Toronto and various other social justice events, and gets asked to sing the national anthem at local events around York Region.

Olivia’s vocal training is with Laura Cavacece, one of Canada’s top vocal coaches. In 2018 Olivia co-wrote, recorded and released her first single with Laura called “Bad Days”. Her song can be streamed on all platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. Her private acting and audition coach is Michael Gordin Shore. She has done various courses and workshops with Young Actors of Atlanta and David Connelly at Drayton Entertainment, LB Acting Studio, Armstrong Acting Studios and Larissa Mair Casting.

The anti-bullying organization, Kill It With Kindness, went on to invite Olivia to be an Ambassador with their Kindness Crew where she enjoys public speaking at elementary schools about bullying, mental health, and the importance of kindness and inclusion.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys walking and training her pug Matilda, song writing, ukulele, basketball and rock climbing. At this point, she’s unsure whether she’ll be able to train Matilda to write songs, play the ukulele, basketball, or rock climb, but they have fun together anyways.
