Vanessa Romanov
Administrative and Social Media Assistant
Vanessa Romanov is a multidisciplinary artist and administrator whose professional experience spans theatre, film, dance, and live performance. A graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts with a double major in Drama and Music Theatre, Vanessa’s early passion for performance led to stage work with Ed Mirvish Productions and Playhouse Theatre, as well as international recognition as a competitive ballroom artist. She has performed across North America, earning ensemble and scholarship honours with the elite show choir “Splash.”
Alongside her performance background, Vanessa has built a robust career behind the scenes as a production and office coordinator for studios and production companies including Rhythm Nation, Ballroom Expressions, Armstrong Acting Studios, Black Box, and Allegory Productions. Her work has supported both independent projects and major platforms including Netflix, Prime Video, and Paramount+.
Vanessa brings exceptional administrative expertise to her role at da Costa Talent, having overseen scheduling, studio operations, client coordination, and social media for organizations of varying scale. She currently guest teaches, coaches and choreographs for ESA’s “Splash” and Studio 96 Ballroom students; she continues to be active in the creative community while completing her studies at the University of Toronto.
Vanessa is thrilled to join da Costa Talent, where she brings together her experience in performance, production, and client support to champion the artists and agents who make up the agency’s vibrant community.
