Janelle Reid

Janelle Reid is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, Canada. She has completed her BFA with a double major in music composition and theatre performance and a second Bachelor’s degree in education. She is an elementary school teacher by profession with a passion for singing reggae, soul, jazz, gospel and R&B. She is most happy when performing her own music on stage – a part of her process towards healing and growth.

She is also passionate about telling the kind of stories of human experiences that should be shared, and looks forward to using any platform to do so. She takes every opportunity to share her voice as a means to bring people together.
