Lily Bollegraf

Lily Bollegraf started her performance journey at a young age in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She grew up dancing at a local studio, training extensively in all styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theater, and Acro. By the age of 9, Lily’s love for Hip Hop led her to seek out adult drop-ins, workshops, and conventions, where she found herself welcomed by the Winnipeg Hip Hop community. Under the mentorship of teachers and choreographers like Wayne Santos and Angel Advincula, Lily emerged as a force in the Hip Hop scene, and later earned scholarship opportunities to train in Los Angeles.

Her ambition and hard work resulted in exciting opportunities for her, travelling to Poland as a part of Team Canada as both a group dancer and soloist. Her years as a competitive dancer prepared her for her two years as a Blue Bomber cheerleader for the Canadian Football League, igniting the stadium with her energy and enthusiasm. Her performances, including appearances at the CFL Grey Cup Festival 2022, showcased her versatility and dedication to performing.

After graduating high school, Lily moved to Vancouver to further her dance training, and is currently enrolled in the ITP program at Harbour Dance Centre, under the direction of Moe Brody, Greer Willans and Chanel Lacasse. There she has had the opportunity to dance with artists such as Megan Lawson, Cara Lee, Carlo Atienza, and more. Her interest in the film and TV industry has led her to develop new skills in on-camera workshops led by choreographers such as Jeff Mortensen, Louise Hradsky, and Justine Gera. She is currently an ambassador for Rutherford Movement Exchange in Toronto and Winnipeg, directed by Stephanie Rutherford.

Lily’s passion for dance and performing combined with her hard work and determination fuels her commitment to pursuing her dreams in the arts. She is relentless about challenging herself as not only a performer but in life, and taking the necessary risks to achieve her goals and embracing the endless possibilities that the future holds with enthusiasm and an open mind.
