Victor Lau has been affixed to the performing arts from the moment he first stepped foot on a stage. A professional dancer, competitive choreographer, and aspiring actor, Victor began his performance training at the early age of 12 when he was immersed in street dance culture. He committed his early years to street-style training in Hip-hop, Waacking, Locking and B-boying which transpired to battling. By the age of 16, Victor had earned numerous titles such as World of Dance Vancouver Waacking champion, Honour-Roll Waacking champion as well as 4x Canadian Hip Hop Gold Medalist.

His diverse training and experience in street dance, as well as competitive and ambitious nature led him to becoming a captain and choreographer for TwoFourSeven Company. His immense knowledge of choreography, blocking and staging has helped the team place 1st in World renowned competitions such as Body Rock and World Of Dance Los Angeles. Due to his unwavering commitment to the arts, he has shared stages across the globe with some of the world’s best dancers. Victor then found himself dancing behind artists such as Ashanti, Sarah Jeffery, Alex Newell and many more. His talents brought him countless experiences working with numerous industry professionals such as Kenny Ortega, Mandy Moore, Luther Brown and Jamal Sims to name a few.

Transitioning into the booming film/tv industry up at Hollywood North, with a new found passion for broadening his skill set, he is now honing in on acting. Victor will be making his big screen debut in the upcoming Lionsgate Adele Lim comedy feature film Joy Ride, which is set to release in June of 2023. You can also catch him as Floyd in the upcoming paramount plus series GREASE: Rise of the Pink Ladies.
When Victor isn’t working on set, he devotes his time to his students. He has been called to share his movement across the globe, teaching master classes and conventions in LA, Denmark, and across Canada. Victor strives to nurture, inspire and pass on his knowledge to encourage the next generation of creatives.
